Lawson McInnis
Lawson McInnis is from Destin, FL, was raised in the woods and on the sands of the Emerald Coast and is a co-founder of Gwaltney-McInnis. He currently lives in and works in Chicago, IL as a Captive Insurance Consultant and has been for the past five years. Graduating from THE University of Florida in 2020 with a B.S. in Operational Management, he loves learning about industries and figuring out how things tick. Having known Andrew since freshman year at The McCallie School, there are many shared adventures the two have endeavored on including watches, fishing, hiking hunting, good bourbon and bird dogs...the simple things in life. Lawson is an Eagle Scout that brings a tenured background of the outdoors and a commitment to a "leave it better than you found it mentality. As a reader you can expect consistent content from him as he dives into the world of watches as a starter collector , the outdoors as an aspiring bow hunter, the skies as a wannabe pilot and a soon to be husband. Andrew is a Clinical Pharmacist working in the Emergency Department at UAB Hospital. With a focused background in acute care and critical response, he plays a vital role in frontline healthcare delivery. Prior to this role, he completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Ascension, sharpening his expertise in patient care, pharmacotherapy, and emergency response protocols including ACLS and BLS certification. Andrew's dedication to precision and care ensures high-quality outcomes in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
John Whaley
John brings over five years of experience as a Software Consultant at CGI, where he specializes in building scalable cloud applications using modern front-end technologies like React.js. Known for his forward-thinking approach and deep technical expertise, John combines creative problem-solving with a methodical development mindset. His contributions consistently elevate the functionality and user experience of every product he touches, making him an essential force in translating complex technical challenges into elegant solutions.
